Party hard this Saturday at the third annual Bushwick Block Party, brought to you by the super-trendy culinary wizards at Roberta's. From noon until midnight, Andrew WK and a dozen other bands will be performing on two different stages, and early birds score a free margarita pizza from noon until 2 p.m. with plenty of other food options to sustain you through the day. Scarf rice balls from Arancini Brothers, loaded wieners from Crif Dogs and ramen from Yuji, among others.

In addition to rocking and eating, get wet and wild at the mysterious Water World, model for photographer Ryan Slack at the Photo Booth, get a free mole screening by dermatologist Bobby Buka, and experience a Steel Cage Match by Deth Killers. (We don't know what most of these words mean either!) Want to brag about your bikini bod and score a sweet fixie? Snap a photo and throw it up on Instagram with #bushwickblockparty sometime during the day. The pic with the most likes by 9 p.m. will receive a free fixed gear bike courtesy of Vitamin Water. Check off every last item on your hipster bucket list in one fell swoop!

Also this weekend:

Celebrate LIC Market's 2nd birthday with a two-day Anniversary Pig Roast and Clambake going down at lunchtime. Sample the savory swine, which comes with rice, black beans and other accoutrement or opt for the seafood, which features Cherrystone claims, steamers, mussels, prawns and more sides. Both options set you back $25, with the option to add on a 1.5 lb lobster or a rack off bbq beef short ribs for $22 if you really want to go whole hog. Wash down your feast with buckets of six beers for $25 or get fancy with a $4 mimosa or $5/$16 glass/pitcher of sangria.

072712muppetsa.jpgSing along to your favorite Muppet tunes on Saturday with Loser's Lounge, who will be covering all the hits prior to a screening of the classic The Muppet Movie at 7:30 p.m. The Prospect Park Bandshell will echo with voices of lovers and dreamers, all reaching for that Rainbow Connection. Fingers crossed for a Manamanah remix! And if that's not enough hot Muppet action for you, tonight Jason Segel's reboot The Muppets screens on the deck of the Intrepid.

The Queens Symphony Orchestra will perform Verdi's hugely popular opera La Traviata on Sunday at 5 p.m. at the Forest Park Bandshell. Maestro Constantine Kitsopoulos conducts the orchestra through the beautiful yet tragic tale of true love. Bring a picnic and plenty of tissues.
