Showtime's Weeds is returning to the small screen on the 27th (catch up online), and it seems the typically West Coast characters are headed to New York City. According to EW, "Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker) emerges from [spoiler redacted!] with a plan to revive her drug-dealing enterprise, this time in New York City." And it seems the Botwin clan does make it here, the new season's poster declares: "New Season, New York, New High." (We would like to believe this all involves a scheme to sell original recipe Four Loko on Craigslist.)
According to On Location Vacations, the cast was in town on April 29th filming on East 125th Street between Lexington and Park, Whitehall Street at Pearl Street, and Crescent Street and Queens Plaza. So we've got Harlem, Queens, and... Battery Park all being pegged as drug hotspots on the show.
