Performances for Richard Greenberg’s theatrical adaptation of Breakfast At Tiffany's will start up at the Cort Theatre on March 4th, and the production still needs to fill one iconic role: the cat. Director Sean Mathias explains, “Holly Golightly’s beloved companion, ‘Cat’, is one of the most famous felines on all of literature." And while Cat got modest screen time in the movie adaption, each time he appeared he stole the scene:

Mathias added, "We will search high and low until we find the perfect animal to take on this role.” Think your feline can handle nudging female lead Emilia Clarke awake, and being in a crowded space filled with drunken party-goers? Then submit a photo along with your contact information to [email protected]. A casting session will be held during the week of February 11th, 2013 to groom the candidates for Broadway stardom. And we urge the casting agents to hit the street and seek out the new star in one of the city's bodegas.
