An undocumented photographer in the 1940s captured dozens of haunting, unprecedented shots of Hitler, prisoners, and gravesites from various stops in Eastern Europe. They're part of a "historical puzzle" that the album's anonymous owner—a 72-year-old executive in the fashion industry who lives in New Jersey and works in Manhattan—is hoping to solve.
