Tomorrow NASA will finally be announcing who will receive their retiring space shuttles. The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum has been lobbying for one for a while now, and they just informed us that tomorrow they're offering free admission to anyone who wears a space-themed piece of clothing. They'll also be broadcasting "NASA’s historic announcement" on a 40-foot-wall there; that's currently scheduled to happen between 1 and 2:30 p.m.

We're told that museum President Susan Marenoff-Zausner will be on hand to watch the announcement, and to give interviews to the press afterward... which makes us think that the Intrepid folk may know something we don't know yet. Either way, we'll all be on the same page sometime tomorrow afternoon—and we'll be sure to post the announcement once it's made.

One question though: how will this effect the layout of the big concert in September?
