If you stop by the Macy's Herald Square flagship store this week, you may notice something odd in the window: comedian Mike Birbiglia, author of the best-seller, "Sleepwalk With Me." He's currently putting up residency in the store window until February 1st as part of the Ultra Downy April Fresh "Clean Sheet Week" Challenge, which sounds like just the sort of synergistic exercise to get our chakras aligned.
The best time to go visit him may be at night: Birbiglia has written extensively about his sleepwalking, and some of the zany things that he's gone through, including running out of a second-story motel window. As for why he agreed to participate, Birbiglia told one curious passerby, "I like having a bed at my job." Birbiglia is doing a live Q&A on his Twitter and Facebook.
