This morning we received a press release about two new residents of the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Prospect Park Zoo: Geoffroy’s Tamarin Twins... teeny tiny baby ones! This is the second pair of twins born to the same parents at the zoo, and above you can see them hitching a ride on their mom's back in the Animal Lifestyles building where they live. We asked the WCS to send along their other photos, and video, of these adorable tamarins (which, btw, are native to parts of Panama and Columbia and are sensitive to deforestation and habitat loss)... but they don't have any! They presumably only took THIS ONE PHOTO. So, here's a closer up on the happy family...
