Hurricane Irene has come and gone, so now it's time to focus on more pressing matters: Beyonce is pregnant, with husband Jay-Z's baby! The long-rumored pregnancy was confirmed last night at the MTV Video Music Awards, when Queen Bee showed up in a vibrant red Lanvin muummuu, clutching her belly on the welcome carpet. MTV tweeted "OMG Beyonce just made a huge announcement on the #vma carpet! #baby!!!!!", and her reps confirmed the happy news shortly thereafter.
Later, after performing "Love on Top" in a sparkly purple blazer, maternity pants and gravity-defying heels, she told the crowd, “I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside me" and rubbed her belly some more.
