It turns out that Thursday's "The Apprentice" tryouts drew their fair share of Wall Street castoffs. “I thought I might have a better shot at this than getting a job through the traditional means,” Matt Karnes, a former Bull Path Capital Management employee, told Bloomberg News. Casting agents were looking for people who were affected by the recession, either by losing their jobs or getting stuck in a low-paying position. Former Bear Sterns employee Milissa Martin said casting agents "keep on asking how the recession’s affected you. I probably make 8 percent of what I used to make. It affects me a lot."
