While Catwoman is okay with consorting criminals, Anne Hathaway dumped her boyfriend Rafaello Follieri in 2008 when it turned out he was involved in an elaborate wire fraud and money laundering scheme that required him to pretend he was a representative of the Vatican (explaining why he kept various ceremonial robes in his office). Yesterday, Follieri was released from federal prison, only to be kicked out of the country.

Follieri had pleaded guilty and was sentenced to four-and-a-half years for stealing millions. ICE told the Daily News, "ICE carried out the order of the immigration judge and removed Follieri from the United States May 25,”

Four years ago, it had been suspected that Follieri was lured back to the States by Hathaway, because the starlet may have wanted to cooperate with the FBI since the feds had seized her diaries from Follieri's $37,000/month apartment. The jewelry that Follieri gave her was auctioned off by the U.S. Marshals; Hathaway is currently engaged to a Mr. Brainwash fan.
